Gautam Gambhir Backs Virat Kohli

Former Indian player Gautam Gambhir has backed India captain Virat Kohli and his team by slamming critics and media after they slammed the team for their poor performance in New Zealand. Indian team played New Zealand for five-match T20I series, three-match ODI series, and two-match Test series. While the visitors had thrashed Kiwi’s in T20I series, they were outplayed by New Zealand in the ODI and Test series respectively. In the ODI series, Virat Kohli scored only 75 runs while in Tests, he scored 38 runs. Because of his poor show, he was heavily criticized by the fans and cricket pundits as well. Coronavirus threat looms over Road Safety Series too

Under the increasing threat of the novel coronavirus, the remaining matches of the Road safety World Series 2020 have been shifted to DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Reportedly these matches will be played behind closed as precaution. Road Safety series shifted The third leg of the Unadacemy Road Safety World Series 2020 was scheduled to be held in Pune from March 14 to 20. But now the matches will be held in Mumbai at the DYP Stadium without any crowd. The same venue will host the final match of the series as well on March 22. An official statement issued in the midnight read, "Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the escalating number of cases in Maharashtra, the organizing committee unanimously agreed that the third leg of the Series, which was scheduled to be held in Pune from 14 to 20 March, 2020, be relocated to DY Patil Stadium and played behind closed doors along with the remaining games at the same venue and the final.” The official statement further added that
